Bengals fans gaining confidence heading into 2020

As crazy as it may sound, Bengals fans are actually gaining confidence in the direction of this franchise.

A big part of that is the Bengals locking up the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft thanks to a three-game losing streak. One of those losses was a wild 38-35 overtime thriller in Miami, as the Bengals made a miraculous comeback to force overtime before losing after the Dolphins kicked a field goal in the final seconds of OT.

Perhaps the combination of the Bengals showing so much fight to go with getting the top pick is why the FanPulse confidence level of fans has grown to 35%. That’s the highest it’s been since Week 2.

But it’s not just that the Bengals have the top pick secured that has fans gaining more confidence. The fact that LSU quarterback Joe Burrow has established himself as a true franchise QB prospect that’s favored to go No. 1 has Bengals fans excited at the prospects of having their best quarterback since Carson Palmer in his prime.

Hopefully, 2020 brings a lot more joy to the Queen City than the last four seasons have.
