Fresh off of their first win of the season, the Bengals had to place two players on the Reserve/Injured list this week. Brandon Wilson and Drew Sample were already declared out for today’s game, so a couple of healthy players will be taking their place on Cincinnati’s inactives list, which looks like this:

  • QB Jake Dolegala
  • WR A.J. Green
  • TE Mason Schreck
  • OL Isaiah Prince
  • OL John Jerry
  • DL Sam Hubbard
  • CB Torry McTyer

Aside from Wilson and Sample, Green (ankle) and Hubbard (knee) were also declared out for this game on Friday. Hubbard missed every practice from this week but head coach Zac Taylor had hopes he could still play, which means his injury shouldn’t keep him out for too long. Green seems to progressing but has yet to step onto the practice field in about a month now.

Prince was just signed to the team on Friday and wasn’t expected to dress for this game. With Jerry also inactive, Fred Johnson is the designated backup at both tackle spots for two weeks in a row.

Schreck is inactive because Cethan Carter is making his return after suffering a concussion two weeks ago.

Here are the inactives for the Browns:

  • WR Taywan Taylor
  • TE Pharaoh Brown
  • TE Demetrius Harris
  • OL Chris Hubbard
  • DL Olivier Vernon
  • DL Justin Zimmer
  • S Eric Murray

Both Hubbard (knee) and Vernon (knee) were questionable for this game, so both of their injuries will be keeping them out of this game. JC Tretter (knee) was also questionable but will be playing.

With both Brown and Harris (shoulder) out, this confirms David Njoku will be active for the first time since Week 2. It’s unsure if he’ll be playing a normal amount of snaps, but he will be suiting up.
