Bengals bringing in Bills G John Miller for a visit, per report

The Bengals are bringing in Buffalo Bills right guard John Miller for a free agent visit, per Ian Rapoport.

A three-year starter for the Bills, Miller was a third-round pick back in the 2015 NFL Draft. He improved in his second season in 2016 as the Bills’ right guard, but only started four games in 2017 before he was benched for the rest of the season. 2018 was a return to form for Miller as he manned his old spot for 15 games and turned in a solid season.

Buffalo has undergone massive changes to their offensive line over the past two seasons, and Miller seems to be a part of that continued overhaul. While he’s been decent in pass protection, his run blocking leaves more to be desired.

Officially, the Bengals tendered exclusive rights free agent Alex Redmond last week, but Redmond has not signed his tender yet, unlike safety Brandon Wilson. Redmond signing his one-year contract seems inevitable, but signing Miller would provide some much needed competition to the position, and at a discounted price.
