Here's my latest installment. This is based on no trades being made yet, and how the landscape is looking at the moment.
Pick 11 - Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State
The team sticks with the BPA approach, and are surprised he is still available, pouncing at the opportunity. The QB of the future is now on the roster.
Pick 42 - Chris Lindstrom, IOL, Boston College
The Bengals work to rebuild the line with this pick. Miller has been signed as a stop-gap for next season, and this provides depth at the position.
Pick 72 - Juan Thornhill, S, Virginia
The Bengals continue to shore up the back end of the secondary, a thin position on the roster. He is also BPA at this spot.
Pick 110 - Joe Giles-Harris, LB, Duke
The team addresses the need to get more athletic at LB, and this is a smart, reactive player that can cover some ground.
Pick 149 - Isaac Nauta, TE, Georgia
With Eifert back on just a 1 ear deal, the team adds depth with a tremendous run blocking TE.
Pick 183 - Max Scharping, O, Northern Illinois
The team addresses a need with a high-upside prospect.
Pick 198 - Tyre Brady, WR, Marshall
The team adds a playmaker at WR. He has NFL size, and can make the contested catches.
Pick 210 - Jimmy Moreland, CB, James Madison
The team grabs a slot CB to fill the backup position to Dennard leaving.
Pick 211 - Kendall Joseph, LB, Clemson
Super high football IQ. His ability to breakdown the play is near top notch.
Pick 213 - Ulsees Gilbert, LB, Akron
The team continues to address the achilles heel of the defense.
Pick 223 - Benny Snell, RB, Kentucky
Good blitz pick-up and goal line threat. He's a plant and head upfield guy.
