We’re revving up for a time of the year that is both busy and important for the Cincinnati Bengals. Free agency is already upon us, with the NFL Draft also about a month and a half away, as Zac Taylor prepares himself for his first offseason as a head coach.
Taylor’s new crew arrived in Indianapolis last week to witness the newest crop of rookies showcase their talents. It was also a time of a lot of rumors, conjecture and one-on-one time with prospects.
Who tore up the NFL Combine and helped their stock the most? The wide receiver group was particularly impressive and has us wondering if the position group should be on the Bengals’ radar earlier than most expect.
We’ll also look at a specific free agency black eye the Bengals suffered with one of the best players they’ve ever fielded. Does a damning scenario from years back still haunt them, even with a new regime in power?
