Bengals trade up and select Ohio State OL Michael Jordan

The real Michael Jordan.

NCAA Football: Indiana at Ohio State Joe Maiorana-USA TODAY Sports

The Bengals have struck yet another trade, as they’ve moved up again in Round 4 to select Ohio State Buckeyes offensive lineman Michael Jordan.

The deal was with the Cowboys to acquire the 136th pick in exchange for picks 149 and 213.

The irony here is Jordan was who replaced Billy Price at center for the Buckeyes this past season after Price was the Bengals’ first-round pick in 2018. However, Jordan spent most of his career at left guard, which is what he’s expected to play in the NFL.

With Clint Boling’s contract running out, Jordan could be who ultimately becomes the team’s left guard for 2020 and beyond.

NFL.com had Jordan projected as a Round 4 pick and compared him to former NFL lineman Alex Boone.

Bengals’ remaining top draft needs are:

DE, LB, WR, RB
