Kinnel, a four-year player and team captain, Kinnel appeared in 47 games for the Wolverines and made 26 starts. Known more as a run defender, Kinnel finished his career with 163 tackles and 9.5 tackles for loss. Kinnel is an Ohio native and grew up in Huber Heights.
While Kinnel was regarded as an priority free agent, Morgan was projected to get drafted somewhere on Day 3. At Nebraska, Morgan was the focal point of the passing game. His 1,004 receiving yards made up nearly 34% of the Cornhuskers’ aerial attack, and it was the first time any Nebraska receiver eclipsed 1,000 yards in a single season. At the NFL combine, Morgan ran a 4.53 at 6-0 202 pounds.
The Bengals drafted neither a safety nor a receiver this year, so Kinnel and Morgan have great chances to make an impression this offseason.
