The selections are in, and the Bengals picked two great players to join their 2019 draft team.
Willie Anderson and Geno Atkins will be representing the Bengals in Nashville and announcing their picks.
It was just announced that two @Bengals will announce draft selections from Nashville.— Marisa Contipelli (@BengalsMarisa) April 4, 2019
Willie Anderson will announce the #Bengals 2nd round pick, while Geno Atkins (@GenoSacks) will announced the #Bengals 3rd round pick.
Big Willie will announce the Bengals’ second round pick, which is the 42nd overall pick, while Atkins will announce the Bengals’ third round pick, which will be 72nd overall.
Anderson, a former first-round pick, and Atkins, a former fourth-round pick, are two of the best to ever play their positions in Cincinnati. Hopefully, the picks that they are announcing will have a similar impact on the team.
This will be the third year in a row that the Bengals have selected former offensive players and current defensive players to announce their picks. T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Michael Johnson had the honors last year, following Anthony Muñoz and Vincent Rey in 2017.
There are few players better suited to welcome in the new crop of future Bengals than Anderson and Atkins.
