Hobson's Choice: Change Of Pace
I, like you, have always appreciated how Marvin Lewis turned this thing around and made them, for much of his 16 seasons, contenders and fun to watch. If the Bengals’ Mount Rushmore is Paul Brown, Anthony Munoz, Ken Anderson and A.J Green, then Marv is on the next one.

Bengals Sign OT Justin Evans, Vollert Waived
Evans (6-5, 310), a first-year player out of South Carolina State, was originally a college free agent signee of the Baltimore Ravens in 2018. He was waived by the Ravens on final cuts last season, and later spent time on the practice squads of the Washington Redskins and the Arizona Cardinals. He was waived by the Cardinals on May 9.

Sources: Bengals' Redmond suspended 4 games
Redmond struggled at times during his first full season as a starter. He was penalized 11 times, the second-highest number on the team behind right tackle Bobby Hart.

Gerald McCoy: Cincinnati Bengals reportedly show interest
The Cincinnati Bengals are among several teams interested in defensive tackle and six-time Pro Bowler Gerald McCoy - the third overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft who was cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this week - according to a report via Twitter from ESPN's Dianna Russini.

Cincinnati Bengals: B.W. Webb hoping to make impact
That has admittedly made it a little hard for the 29-year-old cornerback to settle in and adjust to new schemes and terminology wherever he’s been, but joining the Cincinnati Bengals has felt different.

Around the league

JuJu Smith-Schuster: No drama in Steelers locker room
The young wideout credited Brown as a "great player" who "dominates" on the field, and didn't bite when asked about previous social media exchanges between the two players. Smith-Schuster, however, also noted that things are quieter in the locker room without Brown.

Landon Collins: Thought I was always going to be Giant
"It hit me pretty tough, honestly," Collins said. "I thought I was always going to be a Giant. I made it known to the media and the fans. I wanted to be a Giants since I was drafted there, wanted to be one of those Michael Strahans, those guys who finished their years out there. Things didn't turn out that way."

Vikings CB Rhodes appreciates criticism from Zimmer
"Me and him spoke on that," Rhodes said of Zimmer's remarks. "I mean, we had a bad year as a whole team, so everybody was messing up. We all need to come together as a team and correct our mistakes. I was one of those guys being a leader on the team, not making as many plays as I did in previous years."

NFL awards 2021, 2023 drafts to Cleveland, Kansas City
Cleveland and Kansas City were recently among final draft host destinations considered in recent years, but the league's selection committee chose Nashville in 2019 and Las Vegas in 2020. Denver was also among the finalists to place a pitch to host the annual three-day selection process.

NFL Scouting Combine events shifted to prime time
The announcement of the NFL Scouting Combine staying put for now also comes with changes surrounding on-field drills. Starting in 2020, the televised drill portion of the combine will shift from the morning and afternoon to the afternoon and prime-time slots on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Battista reported.
