Well, the somewhat-expected has happened: Clint Boling officially announced his retirement on Monday. Big No. 65 ended a solid eight-year career, in which he started 112 games, including the postseason.
While both farewells and congratulations are in order for Boling and his family, the move leaves another big hole on the offensive line. After spending massive resources to re-tool the alignment up front, two of the best players from the group heading into this season won’t be suiting up in 2019.
Where does the team go from here? What is the best plan of attack to stop the line from talking another massive step back in the first year under Zac Taylor?
The OBI crew discusses this and points out a couple more potential breakout players in 2019. Join us on a special day and time (Monday evening at 6:45 PM ET).
