Bengals sign Immanuel Turner and waive Darrin Hall

With the Bengals beginning training camp on Saturday, the team has made another series of roster moves.

On Friday, the team signed free agent defensive end Immanuel Turner and waived running back Darrin Hall.

Turner, who weighs in at 6-2 and 283 pounds, is an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech who spent time with the Cardinals before being let go this offseason. This past season, he racked up 36 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and three sacks for the Bulldogs out of Conference USA.

NFL.com gave him a ‘priority free agent’ grade prior to the 2019 NFL Draft.

Hall, who measures in at 5-11 and 225 pounds, is a rookie out of out of the University of Pittsburgh Panthers. He had signed as a college free agent with the Browns on May 3 and was waived shortly thereafter.

In four seasons at Pitt (2015-18), he rushed 381 times for 2189 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also caught 38 passes for 267 yards and one touchdown.

Prior to the draft, NFL.com gave Hall a ‘priority free agent’ grade.
