Colts QB Andrew Luck retiring

An all-time shocker.

Some shocking news is coming out of the NFL tonight. And when I say shocking, I mean an all-time shocking move.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Andrew Luck has informed the Indianapolis Colts that he will retire (and no, it’s not Adarn Schefter).

I mean, I wondered if Schefty didn’t get hacked after first seeing this, but it’s apparently very real.

This is absolutely insane. When healthy, the 29-year-old Luck is easily one of the game’s best, but sadly, frequent injuries appear to have finally taken their toll on the former No. 1 overall pick by way of the Stanford Cardinal.

The Colts just went from being a prime playoff contender, if not the favorite to win the AFC South, to now being in position to tank and be in contention for a top-five pick in 2020 and potentially be in the mix for Tua Tagovailoa or Justin Herbert.

In the meantime, Jacoby Brissett is the man for Indy going forward.
