The Bengals have cut down their roster to 53 today man limit today by making the corresponding roster moves.

Some of these players will not remain on the roster in the coming days, as potential acquisitions for an offensive lineman or a linebacker could very well be made. If that’s the case, then expect a defensive lineman to get cut, as it’s unusual for most teams to carry more than 10.

The Bengals will now begin the process of putting together their practice squad. With Moritz Bohringer counting as a part of the NFL’s International Player Development Program, 11 players, including Bohringer, can be kept. We’ve seen reports that Keaton Sutherland and Ventell Bryant are guys that the team is planning on bringing back to the practice squad, but they need to clear waivers first.
