The Bengals may be 0-1, but last Sunday’s loss in Seattle turned out to be a promising showing in Game 1 of the Zac Taylor era.
For the entire offseason, everyone counted out the Bengals for the upcoming season while also predicting a sizable loss in Week 1. But that was far from the case in Seattle, as the Bengals looked like a vastly different and vastly improved team from what we’ve seen over the last three years.
The offense was innovative, the defense was stout, and it quickly became apparent that Taylor had breathed new life into this team and fanbase.
Despite the loss, Bengals fans’ confidence is rising heading into Week 2. The latest FanPulse survey shows fan confidence rising to a whopping 87%, a 24-spot increase from last week.
A win over the 49ers in Week 2 would ensure it rises even higher going into Week 3.
