After not practicing for most of last week, Bengals running back Joe Mixon is going to be playing today against the 49ers. Mixon left last week’s game with an ankle injury and was questionable to play today.
As for who will not be playing, here are the Bengals’ inactives for today:
- QB Jake Dolegala
- RB Trayveon Williams
- WR A.J. Green
- WR Pharoh Cooper
- OL Cordy Glenn
- DL Andrew Brown
- DL Renell Wren
While Mixon got the green light to play, Williams is still recovering from a foot injury and will miss his second straight game to open the season up. He was listed as questionable, so it’s very possible he plays next week against the Bills.
Cooper was active last week while Auden Tate was dealing with a knee injury, but with Tate healthy again, Cooper will be out along with Green (ankle), who is still at least a week or more away from coming back.
Brown was a healthy scratch last week, and Wren joins him as the only defensive players on the list. This means that newly-signed linebacker LaRoy Reynolds will be suiting up against his former team.
Here are the inactives for the 49ers:
- QB C.J. Beathard
- RB Tevin Coleman
- WR Trent Taylor
- WR Jalen Hurd
- OL Daniel Brunskill
- CB Jason Verrett
- DB Jimmie Ward
Defensive end Nick Bosa was listed as questionable with an ankle injury, but it looks like he’ll be playing. Ward was also listed as questionable (hand) and he will not playing. Coleman, Taylor and Hurd were all declared out on Friday.
