The Bengals get a little injury added to insult as they declare pass rusher Carl Lawson OUT with a right hamstring injury.
INJURY UPDATE: Carl Lawson is out for the game with a right hamstring injury
— Cincinnati Bengals (@Bengals) September 15, 2019
Lawson had only recorded a single tackle on the day as San Francisco has been having their way against the Bengals defense all day.
Lawson missed most of last season with an ACL injury, so it is revealing that he didn’t have anything that serious during the game. We also won’t know how serious the injury is until the Bengals go to practice this week. They could just be taking the cautious route as the game is already well out of hand.
What makes this worse is Kerry Wynn has been ruled out with a concussion. That means the Bengals will have to lean on Sam Hubbard and Carlos Dunlap at defensive end to finish out the game.
We will update this story if any more information becomes available.
