As if the Bengals weren’t having a bad enough day, they might’ve suffered another serious injury to the offensive line.
Rookie left guard Michael Jordan was carted off the field with a left knee injury and has been ruled out for the game.
INJURY UPDATE: G Michael Jordan is out for the game with a left knee injury.
— Cincinnati Bengals (@Bengals) September 15, 2019
The injury occurred while Jordan was in pass protection. His former college teammate, Nick Bosa, beat left tackle John Jerry inside and Jordan’s left knee got clipped, causing him to fall immediately.
Jordan’s injury comes after Andre Smith’s groin injury, making the offensive line have to exhaust all of their offensive line depth. Billy Price entered the game to replace Jordan at left guard.
With any luck, Jordan’s injury isn’t too serious and he won’t miss much time. But based on today, luck may not be on the Bengals’ side, especially seeing how much pain he was in. We will keep you posted if any updates come out.
