Sunday was a bloodbath in more ways than one for the Bengals.
Not only did they lose to the 49ers by 24 points, they may’ve lost several players to injury for the time being.
The Bengals were out nine players for Wednesday’s practice. A.J. Green and Cordy Glenn were two of them, and Tyler Eifert was given a rest day, so six other players who played on Sunday did not participate today due to injury.
Headlining the group is Carl Lawson, who left the 49ers game with a hamstring injury. Lawson told reporters earlier this week that he’ll be “fine”, but it’s not good if he wasn’t even limited today. Maybe he comes back tomorrow.
Andre Smith did not practice as well, but head coach Zac Taylor said he should be good to go for Sunday.
As for the other four, their cases are much more up in the air. Ryan Glasgow was out with a thigh injury, Kerry Wynn joined Glenn in the concussion protocol, B.W. Webb was seen with a cast after Sunday’s game, and Michael Jordan is day-to-day with a knee injury.
C.J. Uzomah didn’t leave Sunday’s game but is apparently dealing with a foot injury. He at least was limited today.

As for the Bills, they were without a few key offensive players today. Both wide receiver John Brown and offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe were given the day off, while running back Devin Singletary did not practice due to a hamstring injury.
On defense, cornerback Tre’Davious White (neck) was limited, while fellow cornerback Taron Johnson (hamstring) and edge rusher Lorenzo Alexander (rest) did not go.
Former Bengals tight end Tyler Kroft, who injured his foot all the way back in May, did practice in full today. It would be fitting to see him make his Bills debut against his former team.
