Coming into the season, Bengals fans were feeling good about the start of the Zac Taylor era.
After a promising performance in Week 1, confidence in the franchise was reaching levels not seen since the team went 4-1 to start the 2018 season.
Unfortunately, things took a drastic turn in Week 2, as the Bengals were thoroughly dismantled by the 49ers at home, 41-17. It was one of the worst beatings an NFL team has taken this season, and it’s left Bengals fan shook entering Week 3:

The Bengals ended the 2018 season with just 30% of fans confident in the direction of the franchise. But after Week 2, confidence has managed to get even lower than that at 27%, a 60% drop from the previous week.
That’s how bad Sunday was, and the Bengals have a lot of work to do to regain the confidence of this fanbase.
But as is the case in all sports, winning can cure everything, and a road win vs. the Bills in Week 3 would re-energize this fanbase.
