What is your prediction for Bills vs. Bengals?
The tone is very different going into Week 3 than it was going into Week 2 for the Bengals.
What once appeared to be a promising scrappy team now finds itself passed out on the floor of rock bottom. That tone was also reflected in how the oddsmakers and experts treated the Bengals this week. It is still up to Cincinnati whether they want to get back up and fight, or if they are content staying down after taking a haymaker early in the season.
Odds
The Bengals are currently six-point underdogs against the Bills, according to Bovada. Cincinnati doesn’t have much going for them in the oddsmakers’ eyes. They are a road team who just gone run off the field in their home opener, and the Bills are finally getting a chance to play at home in front of one of the most devoted fan bases in the NFL. It isn’t even like Cincinnati will be getting someone like A.J. Green or Cordy Glenn back to help turn things around.

Expert predictions
- Fox sports is predicting a 21-24 loss for the Bengals
- All 10 of ESPN’s experts took the Bills over the Bengals
- CBS Sports also has all of their experts going against the Bengals
- All eight of SB Nation’s went with Buffalo as well (Cincinnati didn’t even get the pick of Bennett the good dog)
- NFL Pick Watch, which takes into account picks from experts across the web, currently has the Bengals receiving just four percent of the picks this week
It is no surprise that after a surprising to see so few experts taking the Bengals after being spurned last week. Cincinnati has to prove they are who we saw in Week 1 before anyone will even think about trusting them to beat another team. That is just the reality of the situation after you drop your home opener the way the Bengals did.
