The Bengals before Monday’s practice signed back 33-year-old lineman John Jerry, their oldest player on offense, and swapped out 22-year-old rookie free-agent tackle O’Shea Dugas for injured reserve. That makes Dugas (knee) eligible to return after the eighth game. The move doesn’t do much to the Bengals’ average roster age on Opening Day. It moves slightly from 25.2 to 25.4, still younger than last year’s 25.9.

Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon is ready to turn it up a notch.
Mixon concluded his third preseason with a grand total of three snaps, all of which came in the team’s second exhibition tilt versus Washington. He had one carry for three yards. His most explosive run was negated due to a holding call on tight end C.J. Uzomah.
Bengals left tackle Cordy Glenn is still in concussion protocol.
The Bengals are not sure if Glenn will be active for Week 1. There’s a real possibility that Glenn could be inactive versus the Seahawks. The starting left tackle’s absence from Monday’s practice is not a positive sign.
