UPDATE
It sounds like Joe Mixon suffered only a mild ankle sprain, according to NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero.
#Bengals RB Joe Mixon is believed to have just an ankle sprain, sources say. A little swelling, but early reports optimistic. He’ll have some tests to be sure.

Mixon also was seen without a walking in the postgame meetings, which suggests it’s a very mild ankle sprain.
Mixon may be iffy for Week 2, but it sounds like he’ll be back very soon.
The Bengals got off to a very promising start in their matchup with the Seahawks, enough to take a 17-14 lead into the third quarter.
They did so without getting much from Joe Mixon, who the Seahawks were clearly zeroed in on as they held him to 10 yards on six carries. Even so, having Mixon on the field opens up more opportunities for others to step up.
Well, now those guys may have to step up without Mixon, as he suffered a right ankle injury that has him questionable to return, the team announced. He’s been on the sideline walking around during the third quarter, so it appears it’s nothing major.
With MIxon out, Giovani Bernard has been getting the bulk of the touches, and he’s made several big plays already, including a 33-yard catch and run off a screen pass.
Hopefully, this is nothing serious for MIxon and he’s able to return. We will update this story if any more details come out...
