The offseason is just getting started for the Cincinnati Bengals, but fan confidence continues to rise.
After ending the regular season with a 42% FanPulse confidence level, it’s already taken a slight bump up to 44%. Perhaps the added confidence is from the Bengals retaining special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons, who was set to have his contract expire.
Not only did the Bengals sign him to a new extension, but Simmons was also given the title of assistant head coach, a well-deserved honor for arguably the best coach on staff currently.
Plus, the Bengals are going to coach in the Senior Bowl, so they’re going to get a more in-depth look at some of the top NFL Draft talent this year. All of this has made for a pretty nice offseason thus far.
