As they should.

For just the fourth time in franchise history, the Bengals are in control of the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

It just so happens that LSU Tigers quarterback Joe Burrow is one of the rare hands-down No. 1 overall prospects, and the Bengals are in desperate need of a new franchise-signal caller.

But while Burrow is expected to go No. 1, how long will it take the Bengals to realize this and decide that he will be the pick?

Perhaps not that long, as the Bengals are already zeroing in on Burrow with the top pick, according to Tyler Dragon of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Pretty much the only way that Burrow doesn’t land with the Bengals is if they trade the pick, but as good as Burrow is, it’s going to take a massive haul for Mike Brown to give up one of the best franchise quarterback prospects in recent memory.

Burrow is also someone who will instantly put butts in the seats of Paul Brown Stadium, which has had arguably the worst NFL attendance over the last three years.

Brighter days lie ahead for the Bengals as long as Burrow is part of them.
