SBN Reacts: Bengals fan confidence takes a hit after tie vs. Eagles

An 0-2-1 start has Bengals fans losing faith in this franchise.

The Bengals managed to tie with the Eagles in Week 4, marking the first time in the last 15 road games that Cincy didn’t lose. While that seems like a very minor step forward, Bengals fans apparently don’t think it’s any kind of step forward.

In the latest round of Fan Pulse voting, Bengals fans expressed just a 58% confidence level in the direction of this franchise, down from 85% entering Week 3.

It’s unfortunate that the Bengals don’t have a win after three games. And while Joe Burrow has been very promising, too many of the same issues that caused this team to go 2-14 last year are still painfully present. Perhaps fans are starting to lose confidence that Zac Taylor is the right head coach to lead this franchise moving forward.

Hopefully, Taylor and the Bengals make big changes moving forward that begin with a victory over the Jaguars in Week 4.

As for this week’s national poll, it’s something that actually involved the Bengals last week. This week, we asked fans if the NFL overtime rules should be changed to prevent ties in the regular season.

Do you think the OT rules should change, and how so?
