Overall, the Bengals’ pass defense was pretty impressive against the Ravens.
Free safety Jessie Bates III led the way continuing his impressive 2020. He and the rest of the defense knew what Lamar Jackson wanted to do when he dropped back to pass and focused on taking it away.
Jessie Bates on Ravens passing offense: "We know where Lamar wants to go, either No. 15 or No. 89. It showed up today as well. That's all he was really throwing to today was No. 15 and No. 89." #Bengals

Rookie linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither looked good in his first start, but it was his fellow rookie Logan Wilson who came down with an interception.
Unfortunately, the Bengals were not able to score off of Wilson’s turnover and did not get the takeaway when other opportunities presented themselves.
This video will focus on what they did to take away Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews and the opportunities they had for turnovers.
