The Bengals finally appeared to have some momentum brewing heading into their Week 5 matchup with the Ravens.
After battling the Eagles to a tie before manhandling the Jaguars, the Bengals had gone two straight weeks without a loss since Week 5 of the 2018 season.
Needless to say, it was starting to feel like Joe Burrow and his Bengals may finally be making their ascension.
Unfortunately, the Ravens showed us that it’s still too early to say the Bengals have found themselves.
Thanks to stout defensive effort, Baltimore brutalized Cincinnati en route to a 27-3 victory. In the process, the Ravens defense manhandled Burrow and held him to just 193 total yards with seven sacks, two fumbles and one interception.
That was enough to drop the Bengals fanbase confidence level from 89% to meager 42%.

Hopefully, the Week 6 matchup with the Cols leaves Bengals fans a lot more confident in this team.
