UPDATE
Joe Mixon has returned to the game, so it looks like his foot injury was nothing major.
The Bengals got off to a fast start in their Week 6 clash with the Colts, and Joe Mixon was a big part of it.
After being held to just 59 yards on 24 runs vs. the Ravens last week, Mixon managed to gain 44 yards and one score on his first 11 carries today.
However, Mixon suffered a foot injury in the second quarter, and the team has announced he is questionable to return.
Backup running back Giovani Bernard already has a rushing score, but he has -2 yards on four carries and one catch for four yards. He’s been good in the past, but he’s clearly not at the same level as Mixon is right now, so losing the fourth-year man out of Oklahoma would be a huge loss.
We will update this post as more news on Mixon comes out.
Trainers are looking at Joe Mixon on the sideline. He currently doesn't have a helmet. Bernard taking the reps.
