The Cincinnati Bengals suffered a brutal 31-27 loss on Sunday to the Indianapolis Colts after jumping out to a quick 21-0 lead.
Making matters worse was the Bengals’ potential game winning drive was ended when Joe Burrow tried to fit a pass in over the middle resulting in a game-ending INT.
In the first quarter, Burrow took a QB sneak two yards into the end zone to give the Bengals a 14-0 lead.
Near the end of the quarter, Burrow would hit Tee Higgins for a 67-yard reception, setting up a Joe Mixon TD run to make the lead 21-0.
That’s when things took a turn for the worst. The Bengals were unable to find the end zone again the rest of the game as they put up two more FGs from Randy Bullock, finishing the day with 27 points.
For the game. Burrow was 25/39 (64%) for 313-yards and an INT that came on the final drive of the game. Burrow also rushed the ball three times for two yards and a TD on the QB sneak.
Despite the one mistake that Burrow made late, he played a relatively clean game and was doing what he needed to prior to that throw.
With that being said, how would you grade Burrow’s overall performance against the Colts?
