The Bengals have nothing but bad news on the defensive line. Geno Atkins (shoulder) and Mike Daniels (elbow) are both out for Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars.
Atkins practiced for the first time this week, albeit in a limited capacity. Hopefully the fact that he actually practiced means that he is making progress and that he will be back next Sunday.
Daniels, on the other hand, has been slowly downgrading all week. On Wednesday, he missed practice on a rest day. On Thursday, he was listed as limited on Thursday, which was the same day that Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com said he was re-injured. Daniels is now expected to be out for at least a few weeks.
Could be awhile for Daniels. They may have to think about looking at another vet DT

Logan Wilson is still going through concussion protocol and will miss Sunday’s game. Mackensie Alexander is working through a rib and hamstring injury, so he will be doubtful on Sunday.
Carlos Dunlap (NIR-rest), A.J. Green (NIR-rest) Michael Jordan (knee), Darius Phillips (knee), and Fred Johnson (wrist) are all expected to play after showing up on the injury reports this week. Dunlap and Green got veteran’s days on Wednesday, so there are no injuries there. Phillips will be important, since Alexander is doubtful and the Bengals don’t want to reach too far down the depth chart for cornerbacks.

The Jaguars had a lot of player show up on the injury report this week, but only have two that will be out. DT Daniel Ekuale (ankle) has been downgraded from limited participation to out. Starting C Brandon Linder (knee) has missed every practice this week and will be out. K Stephen Hauschka is questionable (knee).
