Bengals vs. Browns has been an injury fest, especially for the home team. It’s so bad that even former Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has suffered a scary injury in the Cowboys’ Week 7 matchup with Washington.

Late in the third quarter, Dalton was laid out in an absolutely brutal and cheap shot by linebacker Jon Bostic, who ironically played for the Steelers in 2018. Bostic was rightfully ejected for the hit.

After being down on the field for several minutes, Dalton was eventually carted to the locker room for further examination. He’s likely being evaluated for a concussion, though there has been no official announcement.

if healthy, Dalton figures to be Dallas’ QB for the rest of the season following Dak Prescott’s season-ending leg injury. The Bengals are set to host the Cowboys in Week 14 in what could be Dalton’s first game back in the city where he enjoyed five-straight winning seasons and finished as one of the best signal-callers in franchise history.

Here’s to hoping Dalton will be alright moving forward and is back on the field soon.
