The Cincinnati Bengals will head into Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans with two new offensive linemen on the active roster.
On Saturday, the Bengals announced that guard Shaq Calhoun and guard Quinton Spain have been elevated from the practice squad to the active roster.
Spain was signed to the practice squad on Friday after being released by the Buffalo Bills back on October 21st. Spain has played in 70 career games, with 66 starts.
Calhoun is in his 2nd season in the NFL and the 24-year old appeared in 10 games for the Miami Dolphins in 2019.
As practice squad players being elevated to the active roster for Sunday, both Calhoun and Spain will automatically revert to the practice squad on Monday.
The Bengals now have 54 players on their active roster for Sunday, but it doesn’t include B.J. Finney, who was recently acquired in a trade from the Seattle Seahawks who is on roster exemption due to Covid-19 testing protocols.
