Coming into the day, Joe Mixon was questionable to face the Jaguars after suffering a chest injury late in the week. Thankfully, Mixon was active today, and he’s already made a big impact for the Bengals.
Late in the first half with Cincinnati trailing 10-3, Mixon caught a pass from Joe Burrow, turned upfield, and leaped over a Jaguars defender into the end zone for six to tie the game. He also took a big hit from a Jaguars defender but still held on to the ball to give Cincinnati life.
This was also Mixon’s first score of the 2020 season.
