With the Tennessee Titans COVID-19 outbreak along with the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs also having positive coronavirus tests among players, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is calling on everyone to wear their masks.

The Bengals rookie quarterback posted a photo on Instagram with a one-sentence caption: “Wear a mask so we can wear Football. :).”

After making it through three weeks without any positive COVID-19 cases, the NFL had to move games due to the pandemic for the first time last week.

The Titans’ matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers was pushed back to Week 8 after 23 players and staff members with Tennessee tested positive. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots clash with the Kansas City Chiefs was moved from Sunday to Monday after Patriot quarterback Cam Newton tested positive for the virus.

This coming week, no games have been postponed to a different week, but the Patriots Sunday matchup with the Denver Broncos was moved to Monday after cornerback Stephon Gilmore tested positive while the Titans Sunday game with the Buffalo Bills was moved to Tuesday night.

The New York Jets also learned of a positive test that briefly put their Week 5 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals in jeopardy. However, it turned out to be a false positive, and the game will now go on as originally scheduled.

Want to stop having to keep track of these delays? Keep wearing your mask and encourage the players to do so as well.
