Reactions to Bengals’ first signature win of Zac Taylor era

Despite entering Week 8 as seven-point underdogs, the Bengals were clearly the better team Sunday as they beat the Titans 31-20.

This was the first time in Zac Taylor’s tenure that the Bengals beat a team with a winning record, as Tennessee entered the week 5-1 as one of the AFC’s top playoff contenders.

But it was the Bengals who looked like a dangerous team that could be postseason spoilers over the second half of the regular season, especially with Joe Burrow continuing to play like a top-10 quarterback in this league.

The last time the Bengals beat a team with a winning record was Week 5 of the 2018 season vs. the Dolphins. So yeah, it’s been awhile, which made today’s win even more sweet.
