The Bengals are returning this week after enjoying their bye week, which isn’t something every team has gotten this season. Their reward is travelling to Pittsburgh to take on the undefeated Steelers.

The Bengals ended their first half of the season on a very high note as they upset the Titans at home behind some Joe Burrow magic. The offense was efficient at getting in the endzone rather than settling for field goals, and they never took their foot off the gas, which gave them a lead that the defense couldn’t give away at the end.

Pittsburgh has been one of the best teams in the NFL so far this year. Outside of their slow start against the Cowboys last week, the Steelers offense has been firing on all cylinders, but the health of Ben Roethlisberger being up in the air seems to have this game in the balance. Not only does Roethlisberger have two knee injuries that he is recovering from, but he also was placed on the COVID-19 exempt list, which means he has to self-isolate for five days. That means he can’t practice with the team and has to have two negative tests before Sundays game to be eligible to play.

The Pittsburgh defense should still be a huge obstacle no matter if Roethlisberger plays or not. Cincinnati’s offensive line has done an incredible job in their last two games protecting their rookie quarterback, but the Titans and Steelers are on completely opposite ends of the pressure spectrum. Pittsburgh has 32 sacks on the season while Tennessee didn’t even have double digit on the season. This will be a huge test for this line.

Can Burrow and the Bengals pull off the upset of the season and knock off the undefeated Steelers?
