The Cincinnati Bengals (2-5-1) go up against the top team in the NFL right now, the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-0). But there’s so much more to this story than records. Pittsburgh has had the Cincinnati’s number for decades now. Still, where there’s Joe Burrow, there’s hope.
Former Steeler cornerback Ike Taylor joined our show to preview the matchup of the heated rivals, and he had a lot of praise for Burrow and the Bengals.
“Cincinnati scares me,” he said. “They got a pretty good team.” He referred to the Steelers’ close game against the struggling Dallas Cowboys, saying, “If Cincinnati was in that situation last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, I think they might’ve pulled it off all because of Joe Burrow.”
He flat out stated: “I like Joe Burrow. I like Joe Burrow a lot.” He added, “There’s hope for Cincinnati.” You can watch the entire interview below:

“Joe Burrow made every pass you can make. He made the back shoulder pass, he made the deep ball pass, he made the soft swing pass to the running back coming out of the backfield. His placement as a quarterback is unbelievable... The best throws he makes are placement throws, which is hard to do as a quarterback one, let alone in the NFL. And he’s doing that now.
Taylor appreciated Burrow’s personality as well, saying, “Not only is he a heck of a quarterback, but just from the guys being around him, you can tell he’s a heck of a teammate... You can tell he’s just a good soul, a good spirited guy.”
