Bengals at Steelers: Week 10 Madden simulation

We simulated the Bengals at Steelers in Madden to try and predict the outcome of the Week 10 game

Bengals at Steelers Madden Highlights

The Bengals have a lot of momentum coming from the BYE week, regardless of that though they face arguably their toughest test of the season against the undefeated Steelers.

While a loss wouldn’t be the most surprising thing in the world with how the Bengals typically fare against the Steelers, this is a new Bengals team and I can think of no better way for Joe Burrow to continue to show how great he is than taking a below average Bengals team to Pittsburgh and handing them their first loss of their season. It’s like poetry just thinking about it.

Now, let’s take a look at the sim to see what it thinks of my prediction.

The Bengals get off to a good start with the ball driving down the field with little issue. When in the red zone, though, they do end up having to settle for a field goal on 4th and 4.

Bengals first field goal

Bengals: 3-0

After this the Steelers offense gets the ball and for awhile both teams lockdown on defense. A Steelers team whose offense has not been at its best so far this season could be slowed even by the struggling Bengals defense.

However, just like in real life it ended up not lasting forever. With about three minutes left in the half JuJu Smith-Schuster catches a short pass and takes it to the house for a touchdown and a Steelers lead.

JuJu Smith-Schustr first touchdown

Steelers: 7-3

The Bengals get the ball back and get a good drive going getting to the 35 yard line. However, back to back sacks drive them out of field goal range and with 30 seconds left in the half they punt. The Steelers get the ball after halftime and get a good drive going with the Bengals struggling to get a stop. This is all capped off with a James Conner rushing TD up the middle.

James Conner first touchdown

Steelers: 14-3

The Bengals and Steelers both have drives that go nowhere, the Bengals continuing to be derailed by the Steelers pass rush. The Steelers once again get the ball back at the start of the fourth quarter and to drive the nail into the coffin score on a long touchdown drive to extend their lead.

James Conner second touchdown

Steelers: 21-3

With under five minutes left in the game the Bengals try to stay in it by getting some more points on the board, but their drive is once again stalled by back to back sacks and a 4th and 23 conversion attempt fails. The Steelers get the ball back after the turnover on downs and are able to run the clock out for the win.

Final Score

Madden 21 Win Loss prediction accuracy: 5-2-1
