Former Bengals All-Pro and current Seahawks tackle Andrew Whitworth just suffered scary injury that led to him being carted off the field.
During the second quarter of Seattle’s clash with the Rams, Whitworth suffered a lower-body injury. After being down on the field for several minutes, Whitworth was lifted into a medial cart and escorted back to the locker room for further evaluation.

The team hasn’t officially said what the injury is, but it looks like it’s a left knee injury. Whitworth hasn’t missed a game due to injury since 2013, and he’ll turn 39 years old on Dec. 12. So if this injury is a season-ender, it could wind up being a career-ender for the four-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time First-Team All-Pro.
Whitworth left the Bengals following the 2016 season to sign a huge contract with the Rams, but he’s still a beloved figure in the Queen City. Hopefully, this isn’t the last we’ve seen of him on an NFL field.
