Joe Burrow has injury scare after cheap shot by Steelers

The Bengals are hanging tough with the Steelers, but the good guys had an injury scare to the last person they can afford to lose.

Late in the second quarter, Burrow dropped back to pass and scrambled to the sideline before an unsuccessful throw to Drew Sample. As Burrow made the throw, Steelers linebacker Bud Dupree pushed the QB well out of bounds and caused him to run into the bench.

After getting back up, Burrow was visibly in pain as he limped back to the huddle.

Bengals players have fallen victim to cheap shots by the Steelers far too many times to count. But thankfully, it doesn’t appear this one led to a significant injury for the No. 1 overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Though Burrow was seen limping to the halftime locker room, he emerged with no limp and was able to start the second half without a noticeable limp.

Hopefully it stays that way.
