Bengals head coach Zac Taylor gave injury updates on Geno Atkins, Joe Mixon and Jonah Williams
As Bengals head coach Zac Taylor looked ahead to next Sunday's game in Washington, he's not sure if he'll have running back Joe Mixon (foot) but he's encouraged about the status of left tackle Jonah Williams (neck stinger) and defensive tackle Geno Atkins (personal reasons). He also said quarterback Joe Burrow (ankle) looks good to go into his 10th NFL start.

Joe Burrow 'not a quitter,' and he'll need that resolve to revive Bengals
For the first time in his career, Burrow experienced what many in Cincinnati have known all too well -- a stinging defeat to the Steelers that again underscored the disparity between the two franchises.

Back to practice, Andy Dalton 'looked good' for Dallas Cowboys, coach Mike McCarthy says
Dalton suffered a concussion in the Cowboys' Oct. 25 loss to the Washington Football Team and was placed on the NFL's reserve/COVID-19 list on Nov. 3. Because he was on the COVID list and not able to be at the team's facility, he did not finish the return-to-play rules for the concussion as quickly as anticipated.

Bengals Wide Receiver A.J. Green Joins Cam Newton on Unfortunate List
The seven-time Pro Bowler was one of five players that former NFL agent Joel Corry highlighted for CBS Sports. Green is one of five veterans that haven't helped their value in free agency this season, despite being in the final year of their contract.

Report: Bengals One of Many Teams Interested in DeAndre Baker
“I can be a great guy in any locker room they put me in,” Baker told the New York Daily News. “I never had a record in my life. I was never in any trouble in my life and still to this day I haven’t been in any trouble, up until this event. I don’t think I’m a risk to any team. I feel like I’m a benefit to any team right now.”

Washington announces no fans for home game vs. Bengals
“The Washington Football Team has been continuously monitoring the evolving health situation in the DMV region,” the team said in a statement. “After careful consideration and working in close coordination with health officials in Prince George’s County, we have decided that this Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals will be played without fans in attendance.

Steelers Cornerback Steven Nelson Rips Joe Burrow Following Win Over Bengals
"I just rolled my ankle," Burrow said afterwards. "It wasn't a hit or anything. He (Dupree) might have pushed me a little, but it wasn't a hit. He gave me a little extra boost and I ended up rolling my ankle on the sideline."

Around the league

Chadiha: Vikings have reemerged as legit playoff contender
The Vikings have been beaten up, written off ... and yet somehow, they're still lingering around the postseason discussion, especially after their Monday night win over the Chicago Bears. This was a last-place team just a few weeks ago. Now it's a squad hitting its stride at an incredibly opportunistic moment.

2021 NFL Draft order: Cowboys No. 5; Broncos inch closer to top 10
Sunday's rout by the Steelers marked the fourth game in which Joe Burrow has been sacked four or more times, tied for most in the league, and three of the four games were against division opponents. This team isn't going to be competitive in the AFC North until it can keep its quarterback from being bludgeoned by rivals.

Saints QB Drew Brees dealing with multiple broken ribs, lung issue
Brees entered Week 10 with at least one cracked rib, and suffered multiple broken ribs and a lung issue as a result of the hits he sustained against the 49ers, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Injured reserve is not currently being discussed, Rapoport added.

Andy Reid on Raiders' victory lap after Week 5 meeting: 'That's not our style'
The Las Vegas Raiders scored an upset win over the Chiefs in Week 5 by a final score of 40-32, and as they departed for the local airport, the Raiders' team buses circled Arrowhead Stadium before exiting and entering the nearby highway. Reid was asked about the departing lap of triumph Monday and was short with his answer.

Debrief: NFL teams that should be frustrated after Week 10
Burrow's comfort in Taylor's scheme is the best advertisement to keep the head coach in 2021, but I'll be watching the rematches against Baltimore (in Week 17) and Pittsburgh (in Week 15) closely. If the coaching staff can't help Burrow find answers, it's worth wondering how much progress these Bengals have truly made.
