Cincy Jungle’s Week 11 Virtual Tailgate and Pregame Show

Count down to kickoff with Anthony, John, and Matt.

As the Bengals get ready to take on the Washington Football Team this weekend Anthony, John, and Matt have all the latest updates to get you ready. Welcome to the Cincy Jungle Virtual Tailgate and Pregame Show brought to you by Narragansett Beer!

The Bengals are looking to bounce back after last week’s loss and get Zac Taylor’s first road win. Although Joe Mixon is out again, it looks like they are finally getting healthy on the offensive line. It will be interesting to see how the impressive performances of backups and new additions will impact the lineup.

The offensive line will need to step up because the Washington defensive line is Loaded with a capital “L”! They have spent first round picks on the defensive line in each of the last 4 drafts with Chase Young, Montez Sweat, Da’Ron Payne, and Jonathan Allen. They also took Ryan Kerrigan in the 1st Round of the 2011 NFL Draft. This battle in the trenches may be the most important matchup in the game.

On the other side of the ball, Washington is dealing with their own offensive line injuries. As a result they will down to their third option at left tackle. This could result in a great day for Carl Lawson, particularly if the Bengals offense can score enough points to force Washington to throw the ball.

After struggling to get into rhythm against the Steelers, Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense need to bounce back in this game. Washington has some quality players in their defensive secondary and Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, and A.J. Green will need to fight to get open. Their linebacker and safety positions however leave something to be desired, so this could be a huge receiving game for Giovani Bernard and Drew Sample.

We’ll talk about all of this and more as we count down to kickoff in Washington!
