UPDATE
Not long after Joe Burrow went down, the Bengals quickly announced that he’s out for the rest of the game with a left knee injury.
The Bengals are holding their breath after watching Joe Burrow go down in the team’s Week 11 clash with Washington Football Team.
Early in the third quarter, Burrow went down after a pass play and began clutching his left knee. It ended up being a high-low hit by Washington defenders, and he was in obvious pain and had to be lifted onto the cart before heading back to the locker room for further testing.
It doesn’t look good, but the team has yet to announce the injury and Burrow’s status for the remainder of the game. Second-year man Ryan Finley entered the game and looks like he’ll finish it out.
We will keep you posted as more details come out...
Looks like Burrow got caught between two rushers. Allen came in from his left and hit his legs while Sweat came off the right and hit higher. Burrow's left knee took the force of the hit. pic.twitter.com/Sl3X3uAQah
