It looks like Joe Burrow already knows he’ll miss the rest of the 2020 season.

Not long after he suffered a serious knee injury in the Bengals loss at Washington, Burrow announced on Twitter that he’ll be back in 2021, signaling the end of his rookie year.

Burrow was having a great game and overall season prior to his injury today. He was a strong contender for NFL Rookie of the Year and had the future of this franchise looking very bright.

It’s still unclear how bad his injury is, but it’s safe to say we won’t see him on the field again this year.
