As Andy Dalton’s return inches closer, the Cincinnati Bengals are looking to be a little thin in the secondary.
During Thursday’s practice, Mackensie Alexander suffered a knee injury and is listed as limited because of it. Clark Harris (groin), Xavier Williams (back) and Tee Higgins (hamstring) joined Alexander as being partial participants. This may put Alexander’s status in doubt depending on how serious the injury is. Higgins might be listed as questionable regardless if he’s limited again or has a full practices on Friday.
Brandon Wilson (hamstring) did not practice for the second-straight day and that does not bode well for him playing on Sunday. Drew Sample was absent from practice due to personal reasons, so we don’t know if he’ll return for Friday.
The only other true change on the injury report shows Alex Redmond practicing fully for the first time since he suffered a concussion against the New York Giants two Sundays ago. Redmond might not return to the starting lineup, but he should be active for this upcoming Sunday.
