The Bengals got out to the wrong foot on Sunday, and they stumbled all the way till the end. It was just a very rough game to watch where very little went right for the boys in orange in the midst of a season where very little has gone right.
At the least, fans got to see their former quarterback have a swell time getting his revenge in,
Fumbled from the start
Even against another bad team like the Cowboys, the Bengals should’ve known that they had to play close to mistake free football to win. It is safe to say that didn’t go as planned. The Bengals fumbled on their first three possessions, which left an offense that has been struggling to score after Joe Burrow, with a sizable hole.

Nice start by the home club.

the game is not fun on the 2nd offensive play of the game

Well, the tanking crowd didn't have to worry long about the Bengals winning this one.
— Patrick Judis (@PatrickJudis) December 13, 2020
Gotta feel for Trayveon Williams because that was his first real drive since the Bengals drafted him in 2019. Made some good plays before that fumble. A really tough break.

These Cowboys are BAD. It shouldn't look like this.

Why is Alex Erickson touching the ball on 4th down?
— Rebecca Toback (@Rebecca_Toback) December 13, 2020
Erickson fumble. You can only laugh at this point. Honestly, that's what you get when you put the ball in the hands of such a pedestrian and inconsequential player like Alex Erickson on a critical 4th &1 in the RZ already down 10.
— Andre Perrotta (@andreperrotta13) December 13, 2020
Inexcusable to call Taylor's number.

Red hot Andy Dalton
The Bengals offense was struggling, but Dalton was happy to take advantage and have a very productive first half where he easily took advantage of having talented wide receivers against a struggling defense. He made it look easy most of the day.

A.J. Green gets closer to Bengals history
You may not have noticed, but Green has been struggling the past few weeks. You may not have noticed because he seemed to be nonexistent, so him coming out and being able to get a score before halftime was good to see for one of the Bengals’ best players make a play we know he can. Now it is a matter of where he will finish on Cincinnati’s all-time list.
Just in time. #BudLightCelly | @BudLight

This is incorrect, apologies. Green (65) is second in receiving touchdowns in team history behind Chad Johnson (66). Green is third in team history in total TDs behind Pete Johnson (70) and Chad. https://t.co/NpUpNrGuji
— Paul Dehner Jr. (@pauldehnerjr) December 13, 2020
A.J. beating up this Dallas secondary. Off coverage and Green just runs through the leverage, Allen on target there. Bengals score going into the half, but will kick it to Dallas after halftime. Outcome of Dallas's 2nd half drive will tell us how interesting it'll be.

Adriel Jeremiah Green is relevant today

AJ Green came to play today. Looked really strong coming out of his break on that TD.
— Andre Perrotta (@andreperrotta13) December 13, 2020
a.j. green had exactly as many receptions (4), yards (41), and touchdowns (1) in the first half as as he had in the previous 3 games.

Dalton gets his revenge routing Bengals
This game never felt like one that Cincinnati really had a shot in. They consistently shot themselves in the foot, and they really struggled to score yet again. Dalton, however, had no trouble leading a three-win Cowboys team to an easy win over his former team. It really did a lot to show just how low this Bengals team is without Burrow to carry them to relevancy. That doesn’t bode well for head coach Zac Taylor and his staff.
A 30-burger at the hands of this Cowboys team is bad bad bad

common or uncommon opponent @JoeGoodberry?

3 games to go. Bengals sit at 3 in the NFL Draft. 3rd pick in 1980 was Anthony Munoz for the Bengals.

Dalton scored a TD at the two-minute warning to step on the jugular. Or maybe it's dancing on the casket, I don't know at this point.
