The Bengals have lost another quarterback to injury, the latest being to Brandon Allen, who’s started every game since Joe Burrow went down.

The injury happened late in the fourth quarter as Allen was driving the Bengals’ offense into Cowboys territory. He came up limping following a pass play but managed to finish off the drive, despite limping all over the field as he got Cincinnati into the red zone. His heroics would not be enough, though, as his 4th-down pass sailed out of the end zone.

On the ensuing drive, the Bengals announced Allen had a right leg injury was doubtful to return, and Ryan Finley took over for the rest of the game. Allen finished 27/36 passing for 217 yards and a score with a 99.0 passer rating.

Allen was also forced from last week’s loss to the Dolphins after getting the wind knocked out of him. This injury appears to be more serious and could affect his status for Week 15 when the Bengals host the Steelers.
