Bengals vs Steelers: Week 15 Madden simulation

We simulated the Bengals vs Steelers in Madden to try to predict the outcome of the week 15 game

Bengals vs Steelers highlights

The Bengals face off against a falling Steelers team, but without Joe Burrow the Bengals have little hope for a victory anyway. If they could pull it off it would be a win of epic proportions and with a two game lead for the third pick it wouldn’t even affect their Draft pick so it would be a win win. So genuinely it would be a perfect way to continue this season with a surprise upset over the Steelers as unlikely as it is.

With all that said, let’s take a look at what Madden thinks will happen in the Week 15 game.

The Bengals start with the ball, but can’t get anything going and have to punt without a first down. the Steelers receive the ball and actually begin driving downfield. However once they get around mid field they are stopped by the Bengals and forced to punt. They manage to pin the Bengals at the one yard line threatening a safety. The Bengals are able to get a first down and then immediately after that Giovani Bernard takes the hand off and breaks it for an 86 yard touchdown run to give the Bengals the first points.

Bengals: 7-0

After this the Steelers receive the ball and waste no time driving down the field. Once there Ben Roethlisberger is able to hit Diontae Johnson who makes a nice catch along the sideline for the touchdown.

Tied: 7-7

The Bengals get the ball back after the Steelers touchdown, but quickly give the ball back to the Steelers again. The Steelers drive down the field and after the two minute warning has passed the Bengals do what they always do and give up points on a touchdown to JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Steelers: 14-7

The Bengals get the ball back with under two minutes left and end up punting after a 3 and out. The Steelers receive the punt and drive down the field. The Bengals get a fourth down stop, but not until after the Steelers have gotten into comfortable field goal range and are able to knock down an easy 3. So yes, the Bengals not only gave up points in the two minute warning. They did it twice in one game.

Steelers: 17-7

At the beginning of the third the Steelers start with the all, but neither team is able to get much going. The Bengals punt to the Steelers with about two minutes left in the third and the Steelers are easily able to drive down the field and score a touchdown as the third quarter ends.

Steelers: 24 - 7

After this the Steelers kick to the Bengals who have a large deficit to overcome in the fourth quarter. However, the Bengals offense continues to struggle to get anything going. They get one drive to midfield, but that is as far as they get the rest of the day and eventually the Steelers are able to just run out the clock and go home with the win.
