The Bengals shocked the world Monday night as they took down the 11-win Steelers by double digits.
Despite entering the game as 14.5-point underdogs, the Bengals thoroughly manhandled the Steelers in the first half, taking a 17-0 lead into halftime.
Though the Steelers made a second-half push, the Bengals were able to make enough plays to secure the 27-17 win. It ended an 11-game losing skid to the Steelers, effectively killed their hopes of the AFC’s top seed, and put the Browns in position to steal away the division if they win out (and Steelers lose to Colts and Browns over next two weeks).
More importantly, the Bengals finally got a signature win under Zac Taylor, so now there’s actually some hope for what he can do in 2021.
And of course, the Bengals made sure to troll the ESPN experts who picked the Steelers to win “by a lot.”
