Joe Burrow brought an unparalleled excitement to the Cincinnati Bengals.
However, he’s not invincible as the 24-year-old went down with a torn ACL and MCL in November. The former LSU Heisman-winner was taking on the Chase Young-led Washington Football Team when a brutal hit sidelined the star for the remainder of the season.
Burrow’s status for the beginning of the 2021 season is still murky, but after a successful surgery on December 2, he’s starting to walk again. That’s the Christmas present many of us didn’t know we needed.
Here’s the video Burrow shared via Twitter.

Burrow was on pace to shatter the rookie passing yards record. Among other records he helped rewrite this season, Burrow had been incredible, helping lead Cincinnati in their two wins and one tie.
The team went on to lose five straight following their loss to Washington, the second of the five. That said, the future of Cincinnati still rests on Burrow’s shoulders, and given the performances from Brandon Allen and Ryan Finley, Burrow can’t get back quicker.
However, it’ll be about keeping him upright next season, hopefully an issue they address in the draft. Let’s hope he’s healthy in 2021, but let’s also hope the organization does right by him and adds some top-tier offensive lineman.
